Favorites...What does everyone love right now?

               

Welcome back to The Big Screen Focus! This weeks post is all about favorites. I interviewed 14 college freshman, and asked them about their favorite shows, movies and genres. This interview was conducted to gain data to see what a small percentage of older teens are interested in.

Keep reading to find out more about popular shows, movies and genres amongst college students. You might find yourself sharing similar interests, or to know what shows you might be missing out on and should watch. Comment down below your favorites as well.

I started off by asking four questions, and then gathering responses here are the results.

Summary of results: As we see, The Vampire Diaries is rated as the top favorite show, when asked why it was favorited it was due to the plot, the characters and the romance/drama aspect of it. Also the favorites are mostly all under the drama genre. So as we can conclude, drama most catches the attention of the intended audience. Relatively non recent released shows are also seen as favorites within the responses.

Summary Of Results: Based on the favorite movies, drama and science fiction seem to be the most popular out of them all.

Lastly, we have favorite genres. The individuals interviewed were able to choose more then one. Here are the genres stated.

5) Comedy: 4 votes

6) Horror: 1 vote

7) Romance: 2 votes

8) Sci-Fi: 2 votes

Summary: Based on the voted genres, action, drama and comedy seem to be the most favorited genres. This ties to the favorited movies as well as shows. 

Conclusion...

In conclusion, as we can see the most popular genres are drama and sci-fi/fantasy. Drama coming in as one of the most popular. We can see how drama is one of the most popular genres amongst the group. Drama is a genre that has plot twist after plot twist, having you addicted to the show to see more. Drama usually has real life scenarios that could occur.
